" I have forgotten what your voice sounds like because I hear it no more,
The ringing of your keys when you walked, the tread of your soft footsteps.
I can see your smile but can’t remember your laugh
It has been so long that I don’t know what it feels like to have you around
But I still miss you,
I miss the comfort of your presence in my life,
Something I am not sure I remember, but I believe in
I have survived without u, I have grown, I have lived
Endured the pain, felt weakened by it, embraced it also.
Only to become ME, who is still a part of YOU, the you that I can never forget.
